I’ve been fascinated with White-Throated Sparrows after seeing one bathe this past fall. Their colors seem so simple, but when you look closely, you see their striking stripped helmet and their beautiful white throat. Such beautiful little birds! I had noticed that, like the Cardinals, they enjoyed picking up some of the leftover seed below the feeders so when I was a good distance away to not disturb them, I laid down in the snow and waited until one reappeared so I could get this shot.
