Immature Cooper’s Hawk perched in the only entrance of a vacated factory building in which pigeons roost. I saw the pigeon flock flying near the entrance, but they choose not to get to close to the hawk. Sharp Shinned and Cooper’s Hawks spend time in our small town of 2300 people in the winter time, concentrating their efforts near feeding stations, and so, this becomes their winter habitat.
