It was bitterly cold: -21*C with windchill, on Monday morning of the count. I bundled up and went for a walk to the edge of the Park to observe any bird that I could find. Three crows saw me and, curious, approached for a closer look. This one, especially, kept me in view all the while I walked past it and turned back to go home. It was too cold for me!
